Our client is currently recruiting a Senior Manager in our Insurance and Telesales business. This role is responsible for Control and Operations across the insurance team and will act as the representative for insurance regulations and compliance and managing the development of all insurance processes.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • End to end process improvement program to ensure all policies, procedures and compliance/regulatory requirements are met
  • Responsible for all insurance control and audit functions (in conjunction with Telesales & Insurance Control Manager) including compliance with Regional Insurance Policy.
  • Responsibility for management of the required Insurance technology infrastructure to ensure the systems are in place to house insurance policies, and to facilitate new external products & suppliers.
  • Drive the process of requirements for product implementation.
  • Manage and maintain the Insurance team policies and procedures documentation
  • Develop test cases for Control and Operations for the Rainbow project and administer those test cases.
  • Conduct monthly deep dive analysis on all Insurance complaints and drive resolution through the overall Insurance Department.
  • Assist with complaints resolution and Insurance related customer service enquiries

Key skills/ experience needed for this role:

  • Business / Marketing /Economics degree, required
  • RG146 qualifications, preferable
  • A demonstrable understanding of the relevant legislation such as Do Not Call, Telemarketing Legislation, Anti Hawking, RG146 to ensure the business complies to the requirements
  • Prior experience required in a control / compliance  or operations role in Direct Insurance / General Insurance / Retail Insurance
  • An understanding of Lean Six Sigma , an advantage
  • Sound working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
